Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Associate Producer to drive production workflows and ensure our team's success. This role requires strategic oversight, collaboration with directors and internal teams, and delivery of a game that excels in player engagement and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Roadmap Management:
    • Owning and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and retention goals.
    • Breaking high-level initiatives into actionable tasks while ensuring milestones are met.
    • Collaborating with directors to prioritize features and focus on delivering value efficiently.
  • Production Oversight:
    • Overseeing production workflows, balancing creative, technical, and business priorities.
    • Ensuring efficient resource allocation and managing budgets effectively.
  • Risk & Crisis Management:
    • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the production lifecycle.
    • Proactively escalating issues to directors when necessary and navigating the team toward solutions.
    • Monitoring production health, ensuring clarity of goals and focus across teams.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Serving as a bridge between teams and leadership, facilitating communication and passing feedback both ways.
    • Organizing and leading meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews, ensuring team alignment and productivity.
    • Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented environment.
  • Retention-Focused Collaboration:
    • Working closely with our external retention specialist to gather, analyze, and make key retention metrics visible to the team.
    • Ensuring that retention metrics are central to production decisions and roadmap planning.
  • Documentation & Stakeholder Communication:
    • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including production schedules, progress reports, and retrospective analyses.
    • Providing regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and resource requirements.
    • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a production or project management role within the gaming industry, preferably in mobile game development.
  • Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams (art, design, engineering, QA).
  • Skilled in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar platforms).
  • Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools, production schedules, and milestone tracking systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical, creative, and management teams.
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating production risks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented, with a focus on mentorship and collaboration to foster a positive working environment.
