Job Title: Procurement Manager – Plant and Equipment
Location: Flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on skills and experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Manufacturing Plant and Equipment buyers
- Contribute to the development of procurement strategy, policy and processes
- Deliver effective management and leadership to the assigned procurement team
- Ensure technical support and co-ordination throughout the end to end procurement process
- Contribute to the IPS strategic direction and delivery of objectives
Your Skills and Experiences:
- Understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy
- Proven experience working within a procurement role, ideally within an indirect spend category
- Commercial awareness and procurement skills
- Experience of contract and supplier performance management
- Team management and leadership experience
