Job Summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Midwife/Team Lead to join their Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research Delivery Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the line management of the team and the overall coordination and delivery of the research portfolio.

About the Role

The post holder will be responsible for leading the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research Team, providing guidance and support to team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of research projects. They will also be responsible for coordinating and managing the research portfolio, including identifying new research opportunities and developing proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research Team and provide guidance and support to team members
  • Coordinate and manage the research portfolio, including identifying new research opportunities and developing proposals
  • Ensure the successful delivery of research projects, including managing budgets and resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and patients
