Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Support Team Member to join our team at the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the nursing team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
- Assisting with the coordination of patient care, including arranging appointments and transporting patients as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medical histories.
- Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to ensure clear and timely exchange of information between team members and stakeholders.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for growth and suggesting innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A degree in Nursing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Current registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably at band 5 level.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
- IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic communication systems.
