Job Title: Senior/Principal Civil Engineer

Company Overview:
A leading nuclear engineering organization is seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to join their innovative team. With extensive industry experience, this company specializes in delivering engineering and project management solutions that enhance the efficiency of complex infrastructure projects.

Your Mission:
As a Civil Engineer, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to support operations and future programs at client sites. You will work with Mechanical, Civil, Building Services, and Electrical Engineers to author, develop, assess, and maintain Engineering Design Substantiation for Clyde Nuclear Facilities. Your objective is to ensure that Design Intent, Critical Safety Functions, and Safety and Operational Requirements are met according to best practices and regulatory standards.

  • Apply engineering knowledge in high-risk environments.
  • Develop and maintain engineering design substantiation for complex infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualification & Experience:

  1. 5+ years of experience in design assessment for reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
  2. Experience with reinforced concrete and steelwork marine structures and jetties.
  3. Strong foundation in both general and specialist engineering knowledge, utilizing existing and emerging technologies.
  4. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering OR Chartered Engineer.
  5. Experience in a Clyde or similar nuclear environment.
