About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will work in a 1:1 capacity with children who have Special Educational Needs in the Dover area.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in SEN, working closely with our experienced team to provide individualised support to each child. With numerous training opportunities available, this role offers the chance to upskill yourself and gain valuable experience working in an education setting.

What's Involved

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualised support to children who have SEN
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement learning plans
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have graduated with a Degree or Masters in Psychology within the last 3 years and have a genuine desire to work with children who have SEN. You should also be open to working in various settings, including Cover Supervision in Secondary Schools, and be willing to obtain a DBS check.
