Building Control Project Administrator

At Sweco UK, we're a leading Building Control consultancy in England and Wales, providing market-leading expertise as a Corporate Approved Inspector since 1998. Our approach is to listen and engage with our clients to anticipate the regulatory issues that will need resolving and work in partnership to deliver a successful project.
Job DescriptionWe're currently looking for a talented and motivated Project Administrator to join our team in our Brighton office. This role can be worked flexibly with a minimum of three days a week in the office and the remainder at home.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely, efficient, and professional project administration support to Project Managers using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and project database.
- Support, coordinate, and facilitate the adherence to agreed processes and procedures.
- Work within the Project Support team to assist Building Control surveyors with the creation and issuing of statutory documents, including the Initial Notice and Final Certificate.
- Create and issue fee proposals.
- Review and follow up on tasks.
- Process fee acceptances from proposal to live project status.
- Liaise with Project Managers to ensure invoices and applications for payment are issued in a timely manner.
- Review and action project-related reports using the ERP system as requested by Senior Project Support.
- Review and close down projects.
- Work with Project Support colleagues to ensure clients and technical colleagues receive a prompt, professional, and efficient service.
- Act as a key participant in the Project Support Community.
To be successful in this role, you'll possess a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and the ability to follow process and multitask. Full training will be provided in terms of the role as long as you have some administrative skills and competence in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams (Intermediate).
