Educational Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Social Science educator to join our dynamic faculty on a temporary or permanent basis at Wayman Learning Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the academic success of our students while gaining valuable teaching experience in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
About the Role:
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative Social Science lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum, fostering a comprehensive understanding of key social science concepts, theories, and research methods.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, cultural understanding, and academic excellence.
- Guide students in developing essential skills, knowledge, and values necessary for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Social Sciences department and contribute to school-wide events, promoting a vibrant and inclusive school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Social Science or a closely related subject, with a strong passion for Social Science and a captivating teaching style.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students, holding a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
What We Offer:
