About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our Support Services team at Priory Group. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality service to our service users through the creation, presentation, and delivery of meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and cooking of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Catering Assistants to ensure the smooth operation of the catering service.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement creative and nutritious meal plans that cater to the diverse needs of our service users.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all meals are presented in a visually appealing manner.
Requirements:
- Basic qualification in food hygiene (e.g. Level 2 diploma in food hygiene or equivalent).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
