Catering Services Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Services Assistant to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure efficient food service operations.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient and staff feedback and concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in food safety, hygiene, and customer service.
- Previous experience in a catering or food service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, including HACCP principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, as required.
