Catering Services Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Services Assistant to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure efficient food service delivery.
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to feedback and concerns in a professional manner.
- Previous experience in a catering or food service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, including HACCP and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
