Business Analyst - Portfolio Office Expansion

Eden Scott is partnering with Scottish Fire & Rescue Service to drive a progressive Fire Service, centered around individual needs, inclusive, and better connected to Scotland's diverse communities.

As part of a major transformation, the Portfolio Office is expanding to enable significant internal change initiatives. This expansion will enhance the growth and effectiveness of the Portfolio Office function, enabling the effective delivery of organisational change programmes.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience using business analysis techniques, such as SSADM
  • Experience of process mapping As Is To Be
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to produce robust project documentation
  • Experience of working across the entire solutions delivery lifecycle
  • Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis or basic financial analysis techniques

Desirable skills include UML, POPIT model, understanding of operating models, and Prince2 Practitioner or Agile PM Practitioner.
