Avionics Maintenance Supervisor - A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced B2 licensed engineer with supervisory skills to join this corporate and business Jet MRO. The ideal candidate will have Business Jet type ratings (Embraer and/or Bombardier) and a strong background in avionics maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Manage a team of avionics engineers, conduct appraisals, and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide support for service bulletins and modifications, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to industry standards.
  • Efficient Management: Oversee C5 approvals and Battery Bay operations, ensuring smooth workflows and minimizing downtime.
  • Project Coordination: Report progress, manage manpower, and coordinate with hangar management to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Resource Management: Collaborate with colleagues to procure parts, repair equipment, and obtain technical information. Authorize repair requests and manage high-cost spares to optimize resource allocation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to company and health & safety procedures, overseeing quality control for timely service releases.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain communication with customer representatives, addressing their requests and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement productivity enhancements and cost reductions to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge of avionics systems and maintenance procedures.
