The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a B2 Licensed Engineer to lead a team of avionics engineers in performing day-to-day aircraft maintenance activities under Part 145 control. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the certification of all maintenance tasks, while maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of avionics engineers in performing day-to-day aircraft maintenance activities under Part 145 control
  • Ensure the certification of all maintenance tasks
  • Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Focus on customer satisfaction
  • Represent the company in communications with aircraft owners and customer representatives
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Engineering and Estimating teams
  • Ensure effective management of C5 approval and efficient operation of the Battery Bay
  • Communicate daily progress reports and coordinate with hangar management on project status, manpower requirements, and critical path management
Requirements
  • Full unrestricted B2 License with electrical privileges
  • Proven experience in a managerial position
  • Experience in DOA / Part 21 (Desirable)
