Role Overview:
Vision for Education - Newcastle is seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to work on a supply basis in SEND schools, SEMH Alternative Provisions and Pupil Referral Units across North East areas.
As a SEN Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with primary or secondary school aged children who require additional support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour.
The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters progress and achievement for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality education to pupils with SEND
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to provide additional support
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and development
- Contribute to the development of lesson plans and educational programs
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
- Able to work as part of a team
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
