  • Organizing weekly Editorial Office meetings, including producing an agenda and writing up minutes.
  • Providing in-house data analytical support for twice-yearly Editorial Office reports for Society Publication Committee meetings, as well as ad-hoc projects.
  • Liaising with external service providers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective utilization of services and supplies.
  • Processing Editorial Office invoices via the proprietary OUP purchasing system using requisitions and purchase orders, as appropriate.
  • Ensuring editorial lists for all journals are systematically updated and relevant parties are informed of any changes.
  • Collaborating with freelance editorial staff to create effective hand-over notes to ensure an outstanding experience for customers and clients during the peer review process.
  • Offering general administrative support to the Editorial Office and responding to ad-hoc requests from the Managing Editor team.

This is a fully remote position based in the UK.
