Security Officer

As a Security Officer with Securitas Security Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and personnel.
Working in Filton, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality security services, adhering to strict standards and protocols.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preventing and deterring unauthorized access to site
- Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and records, ensuring timely completion of paperwork and effective handover procedures
- Securing company assets, protecting clients' property, and safeguarding employees and visitors
- Remaining vigilant and proactive in detecting and deterring suspicious or threatening activity
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed, recording and reporting any faults, hazards, or incidents
Essential Skills
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Licence
- Born British Citizen / Must have held a British Passport for at least 5 years
- 5-year checkable work history or ability to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- No current criminal convictions
- Punctual and reliable
