Security Officer

Vigilant Security is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at a strategically important site.
Main Responsibilities- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors
- Anticipate and meet clients' needs and expectations
- Be a visible and professional presence, engaging with visitors and clients
- Communicate visitor/client arrivals to relevant personnel
- Maintain a high level of security awareness at all times
- Undertake patrols and inspections as instructed
- Use relevant communications equipment effectively
- Ensure adherence to H&S policies and procedures
- Prevent unauthorized access to prohibited areas
- Issue visitor passes using agreed processes
- Record incidents accurately
- Professional, driven, and flexible individual
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Immaculate presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Computer literacy and good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to be vetted back 5 years or since leaving compulsory education
- Current SIA license
