Job Overview

Piper Maddox Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Land Manager to join their team in Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land acquisition and management, with experience in onshore renewables or other utilities projects.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build out the company's in-house capabilities as they transition to an IPP model, with nearly 2GW of current grid connections and over 4GW targeted by the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure land for solar, BESS, and wind developments.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements relating to land, including heads of terms and option lease agreements.
  • Engage with and manage landowners throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Highly hybrid/remote working setup to begin with.
  • Scope to move into a leadership position within the Scottish function.
  • Strong experience in sourcing new development opportunities is crucial.

What We Offer:

  • A highly competitive salary range of £70,000 - £80,000 DOE.
  • A great fit for a Land Manager or Chartered Surveyor looking to take on new challenges.
