About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Powys Teaching Health Board. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in community hospitals and community teams
  • Support the implementation of Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) at Powys Teaching Health Board
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use and improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services and policies
  • Participate in audit and research activities to improve patient care

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Experience of working as a clinical pharmacist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
  • Experience of working in a hospital or community setting
  • Knowledge of Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) systems
