About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Powys Teaching Health Board. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in community hospitals and community teams
- Support the implementation of Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) at Powys Teaching Health Board
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication use
- Contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services and policies
- Participate in audit and research activities to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacist
- Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- Excellent clinical knowledge and skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
- Experience of working in a hospital or community pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) systems
