The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining service standards for mortgage activities, ensuring effective decision-making on all new mortgage applications, and monitoring mortgage lending to ensure adherence to risk appetite and lending policies.

This role also involves overseeing training and development for underwriting teams, identifying trends in the external mortgage market, and providing detailed management information to the Risk Management Committee.
