Job Title: Business Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Business Support Assistant to join our team at Kent County Council. As a key member of our Family Hubs team, you will provide administrative support to our Family Hub Workers, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

About the Role:
  • Provide administrative support to Family Hub Workers, including greeting and welcoming families, and signposting them to relevant services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including data entry and reporting.
  • Support the opening and closing of Family Hubs, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for families.
  • Act as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and partners, providing excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Support Health & Safety processes, reporting and monitoring any building faults.
About You:
  • You will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You will have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT applications, with experience of using a range of administrative software.
  • You will have a flexible attitude to working across a wide geographical area, with the ability to travel to different Family Hubs as required.
  • You will have a calm and organized approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
