Childcare Specialist

In the role of Residential Care Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality care and support to children with disabilities. Based in Doncaster, this position offers a rewarding career opportunity for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes emotional, social, and physical well-being. You will deliver care and support in line with quality care principles, ensuring the dignity, choice, and independence of our residents are respected at all times.
A typical 4-week rota consists of 9 days off, with shifts primarily consisting of 8-hour morning and afternoon sessions, including some weekends and bank holidays. Sleep-in duties are also required, paid at an additional rate of £40.77 per shift.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be flexible and willing to undertake any necessary training, such as QCF Level 3 qualifications. A strong understanding of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Signs of Safety models is also essential.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £27,259 - £32,501 (including a 8.5% unsocial working hours allowance), access to a range of employee benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
