About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher - English Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our neurodiverse pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning, particularly with a focus on English and literacy skills.
- Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes, to ensure our pupils receive the best possible support.
- Work closely with pupils to keep them engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to direct them in effectively supporting the pupils.
Requirements:
- Patience, compassion, and resilience to work with neurodiverse pupils who may require additional support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to contribute to a range of resources and share information effectively.
- A driving license to transport pupils to various learning settings.
- A genuine interest in a career focused on the education of people with a wide range of needs.
