Industrial Maintenance Specialist for Lush UK Manufacturing

As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, working closely with our Repairs and Maintenance Team to maintain high operational and H&S standards.
About the Role:
- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment across all Lush UK manufacturing departments, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Repairs and Maintenance Team to plan and undertake scheduled maintenance, inspections, and servicing, as well as respond to reactive breakdowns.
- Manage stock and supplies, including ordering with suppliers, to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement procedures to maintain health and safety legislation and regulations, supporting SOPs and Machinery Checks.
- Provide technical guidance and support for related projects within the business, working with colleagues to achieve project goals.
- Supervise and work alongside specialist trades and professionals as needed.
- Present projects and equipment to directors and leads, providing clear and concise feedback to external contractors.
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, with a proven track record of maintaining and repairing complex machinery.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of steam plant and boiler setup (ideal).
- Excellent self-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide technical information and present ideas effectively.
