Senior Conference Producer/Manager

FinTech Global, a leading FinTech news, research and events company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Conference Producer or Conference Manager to drive the success of our extensive portfolio of events. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the FinTech industry and a proven track record of delivering high-quality events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage industry-leading business events that cater to the needs of FinTech professionals.
  • Lead a team of conference producers, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow professionally.
  • Collaborate with directors to formulate innovative event strategies and contribute to business growth.
  • Oversee a portfolio of successful FinTech events, driving growth and creating new event concepts.
  • Conduct research to understand the key challenges facing the FinTech industry and the digital transformation of financial services.
  • Lead desk research, telephone interviews, and face-to-face meetings with industry leaders and our in-house team of journalists and analysts.
  • Design insight-led agendas for conferences, hybrid events, and webinars that address the issues faced by industry leaders.
  • Influence senior-level speakers from the industry and manage speaker relationships, before, during, and after events.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure impactful messaging and marketing campaigns are executed.
  • Write compelling copy for the website, brochure, and marketing materials to promote events.
  • Manage event logistics on the event day and oversee speaker relationships.
  • Contribute to all areas of the business with ideas and suggestions for new products, growth opportunities, and fun activities.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years' experience as a successful conference producer.
  • Experience or interest in financial services and technology.
  • Outstanding skills in communications, project management, and relationship management.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize, work independently, and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a professional and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent team skills and a sociable approach to life.
