Community Children's Therapy Lead

This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team of occupational therapists in County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an experienced and skilled therapist to cover a 12-month fixed-term post due to maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality assessment and intervention programs to children and young people with a wide range of needs. This includes managing complex caseloads, allocating tasks to assistant staff, and communicating effectively with children, young people, parents, carers, and other professionals.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-agency team.
- Knowledge of assessment and treatment approaches in paediatrics, developmental and neurological impairment.
- Specialist postgraduate training linked to this field of clinical practice, such as Paediatric Assessment and Interventions, Social Care Assessment, Sensory Interventions, Learning Disabilities.
