Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our DBT team and provide clinical supervision to staff across our Community Mental Health Teams in Southampton. The successful candidate will have expertise in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and a passion for working with individuals with complex emotional needs.

Main Responsibilities

The DBT Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of DBT therapists, providing clinical supervision, and contributing to the development of DBT services within the Trust. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with a varied therapy caseload, consolidating and developing their clinical skills.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of delivering DBT and other therapies for individuals with complex emotional needs. They will have well-developed interpersonal and clinical skills, as well as the resilience needed to thrive in a busy city-based NHS service.
