Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Creative Psychotherapist to join our team at Compass Associates, working with children in specialist residential care and education settings in Leicestershire.

\

About the Role

\

This is a part-time remote position, initially 6 months (maternity cover), with flexibility to work full-time or part-time. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with trauma and be passionate about creative therapy. The role involves collaborating with staff in residential homes and schools, providing clinical therapy and support to achieve the best outcomes for children in their care.

Responsibilities

  • \
  • Providing creative psychotherapy services to children in specialist residential care and education settings\
  • Collaborating with staff in residential homes and schools to develop and implement therapeutic plans\
  • Supporting children with trauma through clinical therapy and other interventions\
  • Working closely with the Clinical Director and Clinical Lead to ensure high-quality care and education\
  • Traveling to various locations in Leicestershire and Derbyshire to provide services\
  • Participating in regular consultations and meetings with staff and management\\$

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

\
  • \
  • A degree in Creative Psychotherapy and HCPC registration\
  • Post-qualification experience working within Mental Health or Children's Specialist Residential Education, CAMHS services\
  • Experience working with children with trauma\
  • Passion for creative therapy and its benefits for children's mental health\
  • Driver's license with access to own vehicle\

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus mileage reimbursement from home to travel to services. You will also receive:
