About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our Toddlers team at Bright Horizons Shortlands Day Nursery and Preschool in Bromley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 2-3 years old.
  • Ensure the learning environment is stimulating and engaging, with a focus on indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Develop and implement rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to support children's individual milestones.
  • Build strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, as well as safeguarding.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for all.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults.
