About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FX eTrader to join our team at Societe Generale. As a key member of our FIC business, you will play a crucial role in establishing ourselves as a top 10 FX house.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the eFX trading book during London hours, with responsibility for risk management and algo oversight.
  • Develop and enhance long-term relationships with clients based on trust and performance, working closely with sales teams to understand client requirements.
  • Analyze trade, market, and other data to propose and develop new models, driving enhanced market making revenues.
  • Create ideas for enhancements to our current and planned FX trading systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Proven FX eTrading background, with experience in delivering revenues and developing the function.
  • Highly personable, with the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of people both internally and externally.
  • Pro-active, with strong problem-solving skills, a desire for continuous development, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for numbers and excellent attention to detail.
