We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Clarity Recruiting Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklift trucks. You will be responsible for providing on-site support to our clients, identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all service and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job, and managing and maintaining an inventory of spare parts and tools in the service vehicle.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of forklift trucks, including electric, diesel, and LPG-powered models.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their needs, and explaining the work performed.
  • On-Site Visits: Travel to various client locations to provide on-site support, including emergency breakdown assistance and scheduled maintenance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools in the service vehicle.
