Key Responsibilities: As a Mobile Forklift Engineer with Clarity Recruiting Ltd in Birmingham, West Midlands, your key responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks, including electric, diesel, and LPG-powered models, to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
* Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
* Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and understanding their needs.
* Traveling to various client locations to provide on-site support, including emergency breakdown assistance and scheduled maintenance.

You will also be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, and for maintaining accurate records of all service and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in the material handling industry. You must also have excellent technical skills, including strong knowledge of forklift truck maintenance and repair, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A valid driver's license is required, and proficiency in using diagnostic software and basic computer skills for documentation purposes is essential.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including company-provided service vehicle, tools, and equipment, health and dental insurance, paid time off, and holidays.
