We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Expert to join our team at Resourcing Partnership Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.



Job Summary

As a Maintenance and Engineering Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance of plant and equipment to minimize unplanned stops of production facilities. You will work proactively to engineer out process and machine failure modes, providing excellent customer service to the production department.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:




  • Develop and execute PPM and TPM systems to ensure zero stoppages
  • Deal with breakdowns and servicing of plant and equipment
  • Improve process stability
  • Ensure adequate parts/supplies are available for maintenance activities
  • Direct and develop improvers within the department
  • Installation and commissioning of plant and equipment
  • Reading of mechanical, electrical, and fluid drawings
  • General day-to-day maintenance activities
  • Leading and participating in problem-solving activities
  • Ensuring compliance with company rules, procedures, and Quality, Environmental, and H&S legislation
  • Maintaining a high standard of 5S
  • Consistently looking for improvements within the department and recording all improvements


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Mechanical/Electrical qualifications to HNC or equivalent
  • Strong experience in maintenance and engineering
  • Knowledge of H&S legislation, including risk assessments
  • Experience of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead others
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and loyal with a proactive approach
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Office


What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
