Job Description

  • We are seeking a Principal Project Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining and delivering upon project assurance plans, defining project assurance activities aligned to risk, opportunity, and improvement within the programme.
  • The successful candidate will have experience of working within high-functioning quality teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and developing and implementing quality plans and processes.
  • They will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to harvest complex data into practical solutions that support business goals.
  • In addition, they will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • We are ideally looking for a candidate with a degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related field, and who has experience of working in defence, electronics, or similarly complex industries.
  • The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree [or equivalent] in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or experience in Defence, Electronics or similarly 'complex' industries.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in applying Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, Validation and First Article Inspection.
  • Logical thinking, capable of harvesting complex data into actions with practical solutions that supports business goals, in 'the language of the business'.
