We are looking for a Compliance Assurance Specialist to join our Payments & Fraud team at Pick for Britain

About the Role

This role involves leading and coaching an audit team to deliver high-quality engagements, while maintaining a strong focus on stakeholder interaction and business process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a background in internal or external audit, with experience in risk management and assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing quality, efficient, and effective assurance and influencing business areas to improve controls
  • Leading and coaching your audit team as they deliver audit engagements and making sure they're delivered within budget and on time
  • Managing key stakeholders throughout audit engagements, ensuring a good understanding of business risks and an open and effective discussion on key risk areas

The salary for this position is £85,000 - £105,000 per year.

Requirements
  • A strong background in providing assurance over risks and controls, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to assess and prioritise data effectively
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including communication and influencing skills
  • The ability to demonstrate leading a team in delivering projects while keeping a firm hand on budget, schedule, and quality
