Job Description

As a Principal Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our programme and project managers to identify and mitigate risks, threats, and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Project Assurance Plans (PAP) aligned to Risk, Opportunity, and Improvement within the Programme and associated Operating Framework
  • Manage Programme and Project Risks, Threats, and Opportunities to reduce impact on Programme and Project
  • Take leadership on Non Conformance and Failure, identifying Root Cause and implementing corrective actions
  • Provide guidance to the Assurance Team to meet Programme and IPT objectives
  • Contribute to the Assurance function's improvement plans across all phases of the Programme, Product, and Project Lifecycle
  • Mentor and coach to grow quality excellence within the CS3 Quality Team and IPT
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in quality assurance and engineering. You should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience in Defence Electronics or a similarly complex industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, and First Article Inspection
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
  • Experience working with numerous stakeholders and high-functioning quality teams
