Operations Coordinator

About the Role:
The Hiring People are seeking an organised and adaptable individual to support the Operations department in providing effective and proactive support. The selected candidate will enjoy a hybrid working environment, based at home with occasional visits to the office and RAF Stations as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a positive impression of the organisation is always provided, liaising with beneficiaries and stakeholders virtually and in person.
- Support the organisation of events, business travel and accommodation.
- Assist with the provision of governance and administrative services to RAF Sport, monitoring and actioning regulatory changes and requirements and providing guidance.
- Support with the management of the organisation's estate, including bookings, supplier coordination and health and safety compliance, to ensure the charity can optimise use.
- Communicate the benefits and attend events to promote the charity and its primary fundraiser, the RAF Sports Lottery.
- Support with the weekly RAF Sports Lottery draws, confirming lottery wins, monitoring and reviewing draw data and collating lottery winners' stories.
- Assist with the organisation's ESG objectives, helping to drive campaigns and identifying opportunities.
- Assist with the delivery of the organisation's IT; monitoring support, considering development requirements and opportunities and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure including its CRM systems.
- Ensure compliance with the organisation's personal data processing and retention, providing training and guidance to staff and volunteers and managing the deletion and archiving of records as required.
- Carry out reviews of the organisation's policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective and are applied as required. Support with training.

- A problem-solving approach to tasks and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with IT support requirements and maintaining CRMs preferred.
- Knowledge in various areas such as health and safety, data protection and the charity sector preferred.
- Experience in building and maintaining solid relationships internally and externally.
- Full UK driving licence.
