Senior Facades Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Facades Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our facade projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of tender documents, including budgets, schedules, and contracts.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that commercial requirements are met.
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports to stakeholders, including project managers, directors, and clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that commercial objectives are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure that our commercial operations are compliant and efficient.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Facades Quantity Surveyor who can demonstrate a strong track record of delivering commercial success in the construction industry. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and colleagues.
You will have a strong understanding of commercial principles, including cost management, risk assessment, and contract administration. You will also have experience of working with a range of software systems, including Oracle, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
