About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about enriching their lives. As a School Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising both inside and outside of the buildings and across the whole school site. The focus of the role is to support the existing team of Mid-day supervisors and duty staff to maintain a calm atmosphere and a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Support the school team in maintaining a safe and positive environment for all students
- Supervise students during lunchtime and break times
- Assist with administrative tasks as required
- Develop strong relationships with students, staff and parents/carers
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting the school's mission. No previous experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential. The successful candidate will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £20,441-£23,041 per annum (Bucks pay Range 1a Point 5). This is a term-time only position, with approximately 39 weeks of employment per year. The benefits package includes access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a range of other employee benefits.
