Project Director Opportunity
RPS Group is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join our team in Birmingham. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers and mentoring junior members to deliver complex projects within the built environment.
About the Role
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of Project Managers and mentoring junior members
- Taking the lead on client relationships within the sector
- Cost planning, including producing cost plans for commercial purposes
- Preparation of tender documents and construction documents
- Preparation of reports throughout the project process
- Performing pre and post-contract duties on public and commercial projects
- Visiting sites to conduct interim valuations and final accounts
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Working knowledge of JCT Contract
- Ability to implement the principles of construction contract practice
- A strong desire to learn and develop professional skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- IT skills, including Excel
- Strong Health and Safety awareness
