Early Years Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Early Years Family Support Specialist to join our team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community.
As an Early Years Family Support Specialist, you will be working with families to provide support and guidance on various aspects of child development. Your duties will include:
- Providing Stay & Play sessions for families to promote child development.
- Delivering key public health messages in group work to promote healthy habits.
- Supporting parents/carers in promoting positive play within the Early Years Foundation Stages.
- Undertaking 2-year development checks for children in conjunction with the Health Visiting Service.
- Following up with families who have not engaged with the service at mandatory visits.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the suitability, safety, and cleanliness of toys and equipment, as well as supporting the delivery of baby activities to meet the health and development needs of children and families.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
