Senior Credit Analyst - Real Estate

Our client, a leading international bank, is seeking a seasoned Senior Credit Analyst to join their team. This role involves evaluating credit proposals, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions, ensuring that all credit decisions align with the bank's policies and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth credit evaluation reports, analyzing financial and non-financial risks, and making recommendations to mitigate key risks.
  • Review and challenge proposals from the Front Office, presenting independent credit opinions to the Credit Committee.
  • Monitor borrower performance, industry trends, and credit exposures, ensuring all covenants are adhered to throughout the loan life cycle.
  • Support senior management with timely risk analysis and suggest appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct annual reviews of existing customers and proactive monitoring for early warning signals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong financial analysis, projection, and stress-testing skills.
  • Direct experience within 2nd line defence.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks across various industries and sectors.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a proactive and independent mindset.
