Clinical Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trainer to join our Perioperative Practice Development Team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in theatre scrub and a strong understanding of current perioperative practice, policies, and procedures.
As a Clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality education and training programs for nursing and operating department practitioners, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide safe and effective care.
You will work closely with the Perioperative Practice Development Team to identify education and professional development requirements, and assist in the development of quality Theatre Induction, Competency, and development programs.
The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification, NMC/HCPC registration, and a mentorship qualification or equivalent. They will also have evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles.
As a Clinical Trainer, you will be highly skilled and dextrous, working with technical and complex equipment and machinery. You will also have the technical expertise to act as a trainer for medical devices and equipment.

- Maintaining and promoting links with higher education facilities
