About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Supporter to join our team at The National Trust. As a key member of our People Services Centre, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our colleagues, managers, and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on a range of HR-related queries, including payroll, performance, recruitment, absence, policy, and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Own and resolve customer queries and issues, escalating to specialists where necessary, but with a brief to own the resolution for the customer wherever possible.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and external customers, using excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the customer experience and efficiency of our services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a contact centre environment, with a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, with the ability to interpret data and provide accurate advice and guidance.
