People Support Specialist

About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Supporter to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our People Services Centre, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice and guidance to our colleagues, managers, and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and effective support to our customers, resolving queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with our specialist teams to escalate complex issues and provide solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our People policies and procedures, ensuring that you can provide accurate and up-to-date information to our customers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our People services, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes that enhance the customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- A good understanding of People policy and procedures, with a willingness to learn and develop your knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our customers and colleagues.
- Highly developed IT skills, with experience of using HRIS systems such as Oracle.
- A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and provide accurate information to our customers.
- Experience of providing People advice and guidance to a range of levels of managers and employees.
- Process/service improvement experience, with a track record of implementing changes that enhance the customer experience.
