In this standalone position, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, sales execution, and market insights, ensuring Appwrite's product aligns with customer needs and industry trends.
You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to craft and implement a scalable GTM approach, targeting rapid growth and long-term market success.
Key Responsibilities- Own the End-to-End Revenue Strategy: Align GTM, sales, customer success, and partnerships with Appwrite's business goals to drive short- and long-term growth.
- Oversee Sales Process: From building and maintaining the pipeline to executing inbound and outbound sales efforts. Actively engage in the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals to drive immediate revenue growth.
- Establish and Optimize Revenue Operations: Forecasting, reporting, and CRM management. Use data analytics to drive revenue performance and inform continuous improvement across sales, pricing, and market positioning.
- Identify and Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Potential alliances with cloud infrastructure providers, developer communities, and enterprise platforms to unlock additional revenue channels.
- Develop and Deliver Sales Training: Ensure internal teams are equipped to communicate the value of Appwrite's offerings to different customer segments effectively.
- At least 2 years of experience in revenue leadership and hands-on experience in the tech industry, with a strong focus on business strategy and market analysis.
- A proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through strategic sales planning by owning the GTM strategy.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable business insights.
- Highly user-centric, passionate about deeply understanding client needs and tailoring solutions that drive long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Experience with marketplaces like AWS or GCP is a plus, as understanding cloud infrastructure will help navigate enterprise customer needs.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on location and experience.
