Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Ambassador to join our sales team at Optimizely. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue pipeline through outbound prospecting and following up on marketing sourced leads. You will partner with our sales organization to proactively identify, nurture, and create new opportunities with prospects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Acceleration: Drive a multi-million-dollar book of business, contributing to 50% of the overall company generated pipeline and 20% of all closed won opportunities for sales.
  • Territory Alignment: Align with our sales team to develop and execute a territory coverage plan targeting ~100 accounts.
  • Personalization: Craft personalized marketing content, including customized emails, personal videos, and tailored digital experiences for outbound campaigns.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify buying committee members within accounts.
  • Customer Experience: Understand the marketing technology ecosystem and how technical capabilities fit together to create a winning digital customer experience.
  • Account Identification: Research and identify target account lists, determining strategic approaches to outbound engagements.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and achieve daily call, email, and LinkedIn outreach metrics.
  • Collaboration: Partner with local field marketing, Sales, and presales teams to create account-based engagement programs.

Annual Salary: $95,000 - $130,000.
