Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

Salary: £75k - £95k plus excellent benefits

Location: Scotland's Semiconductor hub, Edinburgh

About the Role:

  • Design and develop world-class analog circuits for battery-powered applications, with a focus on Class D amplifier design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions for the next generation of consumer electronics.
  • Integrate Analog blocks into complex SoCs, working closely with mixed-signal and digital design teams.
  • Define specifications and ensure Analog subsystems meet overall performance requirements, working with system architects.

  • Develop solutions that push the boundaries of low-power consumption, high efficiency, and exceptional performance.
  • Work on innovative technologies that shape the future of consumer electronics.

Requirements:

  • Industry degree qualified with a minimum 8 years of experience in Analog IC Design in CMOS, particularly with Class D amplifier topologies and low-power, battery-operated systems.
  • Proven track record in designing Analog ICs, including power amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC interfaces, and power management circuits.
  • Understanding of audio and haptic transducer technology.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as Cadence, Spectre, SPICE.
  • Experience in layout considerations for Analog/Mixed-Signal circuits.
  • Experience with lab measurement equipment.
